Lead | $1 1883 PCGS MS68+ CAC CORONET COLLECTION |
Description |
This coin borders on sheer perfection! It’s hard to imagine how it has survived for 132 years. Pristine surfaces reveal only a microscopic tick or two through a strong glass. A thick satiny luster enhances original pale green/blue/purple/champagne colors that swirl over the obverse, while the reverse is a champagne/creamy white. Miss Liberty and every detail stand out with needle sharp strikes. The cheek is as perfect as you’ll ever see and the eye appeal is incredible!
PCGS 2, NGC 5, CAC 4. Out of 12 million 1883's minted, this is the lone PCGS MS68+ and the finest graded! The current Collectors Universe value is $42,500.00. This coin is more than worthy of inclusion in the finest collection or type set. Good luck!
This coin is being sold with no reserve.
